Overview
The purpose of this part-time position is to provide advanced life support and emergency medical care to patients at an accident or illness scene and during transport.
Duties include but are not limited to: administer Advanced EMT level of life support techniques and procedures based on patient assessment, ability to draw blood, administer approved medications, initiating intravenous fluids, perform pulmonary ventilation, etc.
Applicant must be able to physically perform life operational functions, very heavy work exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently and/or in excess of 30 pounds of force constantly.
Other related duties as assigned.
Applicants must have a certification from the State as an Advanced Emergency
Medical Technician and a valid driver's license. Shift hours are required and includes nights, weekends and holidays.
