Clay County Government is seeking applicants for a Dental Assistant/Front Desk position within the Clay County Health Department. This position will allow the applicant to work a couple of days each week chairside assisting the dentist, with the remaining days spent working at the front desk. Chairside dental duties include passing instruments to the dentist, sterilization, following infection control protocols, and taking and importing dental radiographs. Front desk duties include answering phones, sending and receiving referrals, scheduling appointments, and checking insurance prior to patients' arrival. 

Applicants must hold a high school diploma or equivalent. Dental assisting training certification and radiograph certification are a plus but are not required to apply. We are seeking an applicant who is a hard worker, a team player, and passionate about helping patients improve their dental health.
