Clay County Government is seeking applicants for a full-time position at the Clay County Health Department. 

The primary purpose of this position is to design health education programs utilizing a variety of strategies to address the problems identified in needs assessment; develops, plans, and presents health education programs on various health promotion topics while using evidence- based strategies for worksites and community groups; collaborate and partner with community groups, schools, government, medical and mental health organizations.; prepares, selects, assembles, and distributes health education educational and informational materials to local agencies, organizations; research, write and manage health education and disease prevention grants; assist in accreditation/reaccreditation paperwork and planning.

A Masters' degree in public health education or a major in public health with a major in public health education from a four-year college or university with a major in health education and two years' experience in public health education or a related field or graduation from a four-year college or university and three years' experience in public health education; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
