Clay County Government is seeking applicants for a full-time Transfer Station Technician at the Clay County Transfer Station. 

The primary purpose of this position is the responsibility of operating a solid waste site including weigh station and collection site for household garbage and recyclables. The employee must be able to operate heavy equipment and maintain the collection site in clean and safe working order. Work involves public contact in providing public assistance

and resolving problems as well as operation, maintenance and repair of equipment and technology. The position requires a high school diploma and considerable experience in the operation of heavy equipment or solid waste experience. A clean driving record and drug screen are required.
